ROYAL OAK — In a unanimous vote at the Jan. 8 City Commission meeting, the commission decided to create a local officers compensation commission to review the compensation that city officials receive.

CLAWSON — In a fairly heated discussion at the Jan. 2 City Council meeting, the council decided to set up a workshop to further discuss the fiscal year 2024 goals and objectives.

OAKLAND COUNTY — School districts in Berkley, Clawson and Royal Oak will be coming together to honor Martin Luther King Jr. with their annual “A Day On, Not a Day Off” event.
