SOUTHFIELD — On March 24, the Southfield Police Department was joined by members of the FBI at a press conference addressing a human trafficking investigation that occurred in February out of a local massage parlor.

SOUTHFIELD — Born on April 18, 1922, Catherine Davis is a 102-year-old Southfield resident whose lifetime wish of going to Washington, D.C. to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture was granted for her birthday last April  by “Wish of a Lifetime” from AARP.

SOUTHFIELD — At 10:15 a.m. Feb. 9, Southfield Police Department officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 25000 block of Shiawassee Street after receiving a 911 call that reported there was an unresponsive woman laying face down in the snow.

OAKLAND COUNTY — January 19-25 marked National Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) Week, a field that dates back to the Civil War, when nurses provided anesthesia to soldiers on the battlefield.
