SHELBY TOWNSHIP/UTICA/STERLING HEIGHTS — Theater students from Utica Ford High School last month gave the best performance in the school’s history of performing at the Michigan Interscholastic Forensic Association One-Act State Festival at Central Michigan University.

STERLING HEIGHTS — Andrea Misho, a PTO officer at Burr Elementary School and a co-adviser of the Macomb Community College Occupational Therapy Assistant student leadership organization, saw an opportunity in an underutilized space.

UTICA — The city of Utica recently received a $2.5 million Michigan Enhancement Grant from the state of Michigan, with the assistance of former state Rep. Diana Farrington, to help the city with some projects.

UTICA — The city of Utica is warning anyone who might be renting out homes in Utica after Utica police discovered that a teenager rented a home and threw a house party that was full of teens drinking illegally.
