HARRISON TOWNSHIP — According to a press release sent by the Macomb County Department of Roads, bridge replacement work is planned for South River Road in Harrison Township, over the channel to Lake St. Clair.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — In a 6-0 vote, the Harrison Township Board of Trustees chose to award a contract to Tringali Sanitation March 24.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Sgt. Joe Blevins was named the Harrison Township Fire Department’s 2024 Firefighter of the Year at the township’s Board of Trustees meeting March 10.

FRASER — At its meeting on March 13, the Fraser City Council voted to approve the request to nominate the Baumgartner House to the National Register of Historic Places in a 6-0 vote.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — On March 3, the St. Clair Shores City Council approved a request to add Civic Center Drive to the local street network for Act 51 reporting in a 5-2 vote.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP — At their meeting on March 10, the Harrison Township Board of Trustees voted 6-0 to approve interior renovations to the bathhouse at Waterfront Park on Jefferson Avenue.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — St. Clair Shores residents from Frazho Street to Little Mack Avenue will experience ongoing construction this summer and extending into 2027 as aging gas infrastructure is replaced underground.

ST. CLAIR SHORES — Charges related to alleged instances of double voting in the 2024 primary election leveled against a seasonal election clerk and a voter have been dismissed in St. Clair Shores.

FRASER — Several students from Edison Elementary School have been collecting donations for Children’s Hospital of Michigan as part of a project to better their world.
