Notre Dame Prep's Collins, Roseville's Straughton continue dominant seasons on the ground.

Birmingham Seaholm 28, Oak Park 18: Seaholm senior Penn Roberts rushed for two touchdowns while junior Patrick Hughes and sophomore Will Forberg each added a rushing score. Senior Nathan Walsh led the defensive effort with two interceptions in the win.

 

Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett 30, Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood 14: University Liggett senior running back Gary Stacy rushed for 130 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

 

Hazel Park 46, Clawson 14: Hazel Park junior wide receiver Lathan Chambers had two receiving touchdowns, an interception returned for a touchdown, and a forced fumble in the win.

 

Madison Heights Madison 8, Warren Lincoln 6: Madison senior Jerimiah Patman rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown while also tallying five tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble defensively. Freshman Demarkus Parker had four tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble while junior Terrell Heard added eight tackles in the win.

 

North Farmington 49, Bloomfield Hills 14: North Farmington senior wide receiver Lorence Woodley had a kick return for a touchdown while junior Jayvion Damiani had a punt return for a touchdown. Damiani also added a touchdown run while senior Trey Thomas and junior Terrance James both tallied a touchdown run. James also had a passing touchdown to senior Justin Cross in the win.

 

Novi 37, Brighton 34: Novi senior Logan Ellison rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns while senior wideout Jaden Vondrasek had 167 receiving yards and two touchdown receptions. Senior quarterback Johnny Aurilia threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

 

Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 52, Troy 28: Notre Dame Prep junior quarterback Sam Stowe threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns while senior running back Drew Heimbuch rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns. Notre Dame Prep senior running back Billy Collins continued his explosive 2024 campaign, totaling 157 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns while senior wideout Joey DeCasas had 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Troy senior quarterback Noah Oury threw for 179 yards and one touchdown while senior wideout Jaielen Peacock paced the offense with 200 total yards and two touchdowns. Troy junior Ryan Christensen tallied seven tackles and an interception return for a touchdown in the loss.

 

Roseville 56, Macomb L’Anse Creuse North 6: Roseville senior running back Desmond Straughton is solidifying himself as one of the best backs in the state, posting another stellar game of 163 rushing yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Straughton also had a punt return for a touchdown. Senior quarterback Jordan Simes threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns with senior wideout Herman Searcy collecting two two catches for 124 yards and a score. Senior Elizah Jolly tallied nine tackles and two sacks in the win.
