MOUNT CLEMENS — Eighteen-year-old Braydin Lewis, whose family lives in Angola, Indiana, was continuing his hockey career with the Mount Clemens Metro Jets in the U.S. Premier Hockey League back in March of 2022.

BIRMINGHAM — After a scoreless first half in a football contest at Birmingham Seaholm High School Sept. 1, a second half showdown between Seaholm and U-of-D Jesuit would be one for the books.

UTICA — Utica High School’s first game of the season was a roller coaster.

PONTIAC — With the 50th anniversary of Title IX occurring back in June, the importance of everything it brought — to not only sports- or education-based inclusion, but basic safety measures for women — was celebrated Aug. 12 at the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac.
