BLOOMFIELD HILLS — For the second season in a row, Bloomfield Hills girls soccer has an underclassman on the all-State list.

DETROIT — As another year concluded at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit, both the city and Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo were winners once more.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS — Michigan State University’s men’s golf program is getting a good one in Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice senior Lorenzo Pinili.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Chippewa Valley boys track and field has progressed in every phase each season as they inch one step closer to a state title.

STERLING HEIGHTS/SHELBY TOWNSHIP/MACOMB TOWNSHIP — There’s a reason that the Utica Ford II softball team got  massive applause at the school’s graduation.

MACOMB COUNTY — In 2017, United Shore Professional Baseball League Westside Woolly Mammoths manager Taylor Grzelakowski, a Fraser high school graduate, received the news of a lifetime. The Minnesota Twins had signed Grzelakowski and Randy Dobnak, then his Utica Unicorns teammate, to the organization.

ORCHALD LAKE — Playing against the likes of Catholic High School League rivals Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice and Detroit Catholic Central on a consistent basis can cloud the accomplishments that Orchard Lake St. Mary’s boys golf has achieved the past few years.

WARREN — It’s a tradition unlike any other for Warren De La Salle Collegiate boys golf.
