Some local voters will have new, temporary precinct locations for August primary

FARMINGTON HILLS — Due to construction taking place at various polling locations within Farmington Hills, some voting precincts will be temporarily relocated for the Aug. 2 state primary election.

Precinct Nos. 5 and 6, currently located at Grace Chapel Church, on Halstead Road, will be moved to Faith Covenant Church, located at 35415 14 Mile Road.

Precinct No. 12, currently located at Woodcreek Elementary School, on Harwich Drive, will be moved to Farmington Central High School, located at 30175 Highmeadow Road.

Precinct No. 16, currently located at Hillside Elementary, on 11 Mile Road, will be moved to St. Toma Syriac Catholic Church, located at 25600 Drake Road.

Precinct No. 24, currently located at Power Middle School, on Rhonswood Street, will be moved to Gill Elementary School, located at 21195 Gill Road.

According to a press release from the city of Farmington Hills, precincts will go back to regular locations for the state general election Nov. 8.
