Rochester’s Lower and Ybarra place at states for wrestling

ROCHESTER — Rochester senior Damian Ybarra and junior Jack Lower earned all-state honors March 2 at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 1 Individual Wrestling State Finals at Ford Field.

Ybarra made his way through the 165-pound weight class for a sixth-place finish, while Lower placed fifth in the 215-pound weight class.
