GROSSE POINTE CITY/PARK — Grosse Pointe City has inked a new agreement with Grosse Pointe Park to use the Park’s public safety dispatching services for 911 emergency calls.

GROSSE POINTE FARMS — The discovery of a pipe bomb at Pier Park in Grosse Pointe Farms the morning of June 2 led to a complete shutdown of the park as multiple law enforcement agencies converged on the scene to check for any other explosive devices.

NOVI — A nurse who was kidnapped as she left her job at the Detroit Medical Center May 13 was found dead inside the trunk of her car in Novi at approximately 9 p.m. May 14.

ROCHESTER HILLS — Deputies responded to the 5500 block of Carrollton Court on a report that a vehicle had been stolen at 12:50 a.m. April 28.
