FARMINGTON HILLS — According to a press release, the Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating a delayed report of a suspicious incident at a bus stop that occurred on Monday, Dec. 4, between 3 and 3:05 p.m.

ROSEVILLE — A man who was found guilty of second-degree murder in a shooting that occurred at a Roseville bar in 2022 has been sentenced.

WEST BLOOMFIELD — On Dec. 6, West Bloomfield resident Kevin Gunn pleaded guilty to charges of stealing over $4,000 in Wayne County funds, according to a press release from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.

GROSSE POINTE WOODS — The case against a Grosse Pointe Woods man accused of murdering his brother will now move downtown to 3rd Circuit Court in Detroit.

OAKLAND COUNTY — An increase in thieves breaking into multimillion-dollar homes across northern Oakland County and stealing valuables has prompted Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard to create a new task force targeting what he believes is a transnational crime ring.

ROCHESTER HILLS — A Troy man has been arrested after a bullet shattered a Jeep window in a traffic incident Dec. 9.

SOUTHFIELD — The Oakland County Board of Commissioners’ gun buyback pilot program included four events in October 2022, with a total collection of 353 weapons, including five assault rifles, and more than $35,000 in gift cards given out in Auburn Hills, Berkley, Bloomfield Township, Ferndale, Lathrup Village, Royal Oak and Southfield.

WARREN — A Detroit man who allegedly fled from Warren police during a traffic stop was arraigned in the 37th District Court on Nov. 17 and now faces 18 charges.
