DETROIT — After ranking second in 2022 and third in 2023 in USA Today’s annual “10 Best Competition” for the nation’s top science museums, the Michigan Science Center is once again vying to win.
This year, The Michigan Science Center is one of 20 museums nominated for the list, chosen by a panel of editors from both USA TODAY and 10Best.com, plus relevant expert contributors and others. The top 10 science museums will be determined by the public. Polls opened on Jan. 15 and will continue until 11:59 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 12 at. Voters must be 18 and up and can vote once a day until the contest closes.

The Michigan Science Center is a Smithsonian affiliate that works to inspire nearly 250,000 curious minds of all ages every year through science, technology, engineering, and math via discovery, innovation and interactive education. It is located at 5020 John R Street in Detroit.
