ROCHESTER HILLS — A man from Sterling Heights is facing criminal sexual conduct charges after allegedly inappropriately touching a female employee at a store in Rochester Hills July 1.

Brian Lamont Swan, 53, was arraigned July 14 on one charge of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in the 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills.

On July 1, deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the store, in the 1100 block of South Rochester Road, on a report that a sexual assault had occurred.

The female employee told deputies that a man — later identified as Swan — had walked behind her while she was working and “touched her from behind in a sexual manner.”

Utilizing store surveillance video, deputies said they were able to identify Swan, who was arrested and taken into custody without incident at his home July 14.

Detectives in neighboring jurisdictions are investigating to determine if Swan may have been involved in similar incidents.

Lamont did not have an attorney on file at press time.
