BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — Police in Bloomfield Township are reporting a rise in drunken drivers and alcohol-related crashes within the township.

OAKLAND COUNTY — The body of a 36-year-old swimmer who was reported to have been missing since Thursday, Aug. 24, was recovered by divers in Walled Lake Aug. 25, according to a press release from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — A scheduled preliminary exam in the 48th District Court in Bloomfield Township for Jordan Worrall, the man who allegedly threatened to kill a Novi judge, was adjourned Aug. 3 to allow time for a mental health evaluation and a possible consolidation of cases with charges in the 52-1 District Court.
