SHELBY TOWNSHIP/UTICA — In the Shelby-Utica News’ coverage area, voters will select party candidates vying to earn spots in the governor’s race, the U.S. House of Representatives, the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives, and the Macomb County Board of Commissioners in the primary election Aug. 2.

Below are profiles submitted by the candidates. Profiles do not appear for candidates who are running uncontested for their party’s nomination.
