A vulnerable adult who went missing Saturday afternoon has been found safe.
Hans Brinkman, 53, of Novi, went missing from his group home on Jamestowne Road, which runs north off 10 Mile Road between Novi and Taft roads. He was last seen at the home at 3:50 p.m.
A Livingston County Sheriff’s Office deputy discovered Brinkman at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, walking along U.S. 23 in Green Oak Township. Brinkman was approximately 17 miles from his home. According to a press release, Brinkman did not have access to a car, a phone or a way to secure money.
