DETROIT — The Catholic Foundation of Michigan will host its annual awards breakfast on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

BIRMINGHAM — Following an intense time of grieving, Birmingham resident Jennifer Jackson started The Dre Project in memory of her sister, Andrea Kristin Jackson, who passed away in 2013.

METRO DETROIT — On Nov. 15, Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II announced that Michigan has surpassed its Caring for MI Future goal of opening 1,000 new child care programs a year earlier than expected by opening 1,089 child care programs since May 2022. 

DETROIT — On Nov. 9, Bank of America celebrated its annual Day of Giving, as employees teamed up with community partners to volunteer at organizations helping to advance economic mobility and racial equality in Detroit.
