CENTER LINE — Center Line is taking steps to restore its tree canopy, with two tree-planting events this month.

TROY — The St. Augustine Lutheran Troy church, called SALT Church, is welcoming the public to join them for an informative discussion on the topic of human trafficking Saturday, Oct. 21.

FRANKLIN — Franklin resident Ann Tonkin studied in Germany in college, so the library’s Oktoberfest “is very familiar to me and it is just a fun way to celebrate German culture. I have great memories and it’s a reminder of time there,” she said of the recent event at the library.
