HAZEL PARK — For the third time in three months, a threat has caused a panic at Hazel Park Schools, and authorities believe a teacher is behind the latest scare.

WARREN — Macomb County prosecutors have charged a Lincoln Park man with five felonies, four involving a motor vehicle and one for possession of a controlled substance, after an alleged drunk driving accident on Jan. 21, which resulted in a man’s death.

TROY — Four suspects have been arrested in connection with what police are calling an attempted home invasion that took place Feb. 8.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — Police have arrested three men they believe are responsible for hundreds of thefts across metro Detroit, including 25 stolen cars. 

WARREN — A 13-year-old student from Lois E. Carter Middle School got an ambulance ride to the hospital for observation on Feb. 6 after she reportedly consumed a cookie that contained THC.
