The Troy Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of Fire and Flannel at the Troy Historic Village Sept. 19.
Fire and Flannel provides opportunities for community members and business professionals to network while enjoying a casual environment of live music, activities, and food and drinks. The event, presented by The Davey Tree Expert Co., will be held 4-6:30 p.m.
Attendees can expect:
- A live performance from folk band duo Hot Ugly.
- Bourbon and whiskey tastings from Shankar Distillers/Varchas Whiskeys.
- Sawing and branding drink coasters at the blacksmith shop.

- A food tent with local cuisine from City BBQ, Olga’s Fresh Grille, Qdoba, Granite City and Eddie V’s. Attendees may also build their own s’mores at the outdoor fire pit.
- Cornhole and yard games.
- The LumberJack and Jill Flannel Contest, where attendees can dress in their best flannel shirts or go all out with a lumberjack getup and enter for a chance to win a prize from Troy chamber members.
