SHELBY TOWNSHIP — A Utica Community Schools bus was involved in a crash in Shelby Township Oct. 13 on Schoenherr Road.

SOUTHFIELD — In addition to the election of new city council members in Southfield and Lathrup Village, Southfield voters will also find two charter amendment proposals on the ballot Nov. 7.

TROY — The St. Augustine Lutheran Troy church, called SALT Church, is welcoming the public to join them for an informative discussion on the topic of human trafficking Saturday, Oct. 21.

TROY — The Lloyd Stage Nature Center is popping the bubbly for its 13th annual Nature Uncorked fundraiser.

In the Eastsider’s coverage area, voters in the Nov. 7 election in Eastpointe will choose a mayor and two City Council members while voters in Roseville will consider a bond proposal and elect three City Council members in an uncontested election with exactly three candidates on the ballot.
