1. Grosse Pointe Santa Claus Parade

The 46th annual Grosse Pointe Santa Claus Parade will start at 10 a.m. Friday at Lewiston Road and Kercheval Avenue in Grosse Pointe Farms, making its way a little over a mile to Kercheval and Cadieux Road in Grosse Pointe City. The parade will be preceded by the Grosse Pointe Lions Club’s 23rd annual Jingle Bell Family Fun 2.2 mile Walk/Run, which will start at 9 a.m. on the parade route. 2. 'Elf the Musical'
Starting Nov. 25 • Royal Oak
Stagecrafters will present “Elf the Musical” on select dates from Nov. 25 to Dec. 18 at the Baldwin Theatre, 415 S. Lafayette Ave. in Royal Oak. The musical is an adaptation of the 2003 movie starring Will Ferrell. This weekend's performances will take place at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. 3. Holiday Walk/Winter Wonder Lights
Starting Nov. 25 • Rochester
See the sights of the season at Meadow Brook Hall with two events, both starting Nov. 25. The Holiday Walk will take guests on a daytime tour of the historic mansion as it's decked out in decorations. Winter Wonder Lights is an outdoor experience at night featuring a light show, music, treats and more. All tickets must be purchased online in advance for a specific date and time. 4. 'A Rocky Mountain Christmas'
Nov. 27 • Clinton Township
Musician Ted Vigil will pay tribute to the late John Denver during "A Rocky Mountain Christmas" at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Macomb Center for the Performing Arts, 44575 Garfield Road in Clinton Township, on the center campus of Macomb Community College. The title of the show is taken from the 1975 album of the same name, the first of many holiday-themed releases by Denver. Vigil will play “Christmas for Cowboys” and “Christmas Like a Lullaby," along with standards such as "Jingle Bells." Tickets range from $39 to $49. 5. 'A Christmas Carol, the Musical'
Starting Nov. 25 • Grosse Pointe Woods
Grosse Pointe Theatre will stage “A Christmas Carol, the Musical” on select dates from Nov. 25 to Dec. 4 at the Parcells Middle School auditorium, 20600 Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Woods.
