1. Oakland County Earth Day
April 22  • Royal Oak

The Oakland County Earth Day climate march, rally and fair will take place this Saturday at Centennial Commons Park in Royal Oak. The celebration will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the march at 10 a.m. and the rally at 11 a.m. Hear speeches from politicians, listen to live music and check out more than 50 booths featuring vendors billed as environmentally friendly. For more information, visit turnoaklandcountygreen.com/oakland-county-march.

2. Record Store Day

This Saturday, a number of local independent businesses will offer special deals, host bands and feature new music or vinyl re-releases not available elsewhere as part of Record Store Day. Participants include Weirdsville Records, located at 61 Macomb Place in Mount Clemens; UHF Records, 512 S. Washington Ave. in Royal Oak; Village Vinyl, 5972 Chicago Road in Warren; Melodies and Memories, 23013 Gratiot Ave. in Eastpointe; Found Sound, 234 W. 3. 'Private Lives'
April 21-23 • Walled Lake

The Inspired Acting Company, a new professional theater group located at 1124 E. West Maple Road in Walled Lake, will perform its first-ever show, "Private Lives," at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. The "classic comedy about the wisdom of second chances" will also run on weekends through May 7, and is the first of six productions slated for 2023. General admission tickets cost $35 for plays and $45 for musicals, and can be purchased at InspiredActing.org.

4. Warren Symphony Orchestra
April 23 • Clinton Township

The Warren Symphony Orchestra's final performance of the 2022-2023 season, titled “Out of This World,” will feature the music of "Star Wars" at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Macomb Center for the Perfoming Arts. Admission costs $23 for adults, $20 for seniors and $10 for college students; all others can enter for free but will need to pick up a ticket at the box office at the venue, located on Macomb Community College's Center Campus at 44575 Garfield Road in Clinton Township. 5. ArtSail Spring Fine Arts and Crafts Show
April 23 • Waterford

The ArtSail Spring Fine Arts and Crafts Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Oakland County Farmers Market, located at 2350 Pontiac Lake Road in Waterford. The event will feature handcrafted works by 26 artists, whose mediums include painting, pottery, glass art, jewelry, woodworking, candles and quilting.
