Senior Alek Frascone scored 21 points to lead Utica Eisenhower to a 59-39 victory against Utica in the nightcap of the Chieftains & Eagles vs. Cancer Benefit played between the schools on Saturday.

Eisenhower (4-0) broke open a 10-point game early in the fourth quarter by going on a 12-3 run to distance titself from the Chieftains.

Junior forward Justin Gleason scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Eagles, and senior Dan Chmielewski also added 10 points.

"We were playing quick, but we weren't playing as quick as we would like to. They did some nice things in their zone and threw some twists at us that we weren't ready for, but luckily a couple of our guys caught fire from the outside," Eisenhower coach Dave Schwesinger said.

Parker Chmiel led Utica with 12 points, as the junior guard hit four 3-pointers in the second half. Senior guard Mike Russell added 10 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Eisenhower will host Chippewa Valley on Jan. 7; Utica (1-4) will travel to Roseville to being MAC White play.
