Harrison Township L'Anse Creuse defeated Fraser High 27-25, 18-25, 25-19, 25-20 in a regional semifinal Nov. 12.
L'Anse Creuse came back from a 19-12 deficit in the opening game to win 27-25.
"We always come back and we always finish strong. Whenever we are in that situation when we do have to come back, our girls are not nervous about it, because we've done it all season," L'Anse Creuse coach Derek Ledwidge said.
The Ramblers showed great resolve in winning the second game, but L'Anse Creuse used its strength from seniors Leah Rose (26 kills, 21 digs) and Jaevyn Wortham (17 kills, 13 digs) to control the final two games.
Rachel Parus led Fraser with 15 kills and 25 digs.
L'Anse Creuse will move on to play Romeo in a regional final at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at Sterling Heights Stevenson. Fraser closes its season with a 14-21 record.
